If you've read my previous post, you will know that me and my boyfriend visited several cities and towns in the beautiful country of Italy. I'm surprised it has taken me a few weeks to create this post because I was so excited to create a lookbook on what I wore whilst I was there. If you fancy some glorious scenic photos, take a look at 'My trip to Italy' where you will be overwhelmed with unreal scenery. The summer may be over, but hopefully I can provide a little inspiration for any upcoming holidays you may have.
Outfit One
These pink culottes are one of my favourite wardrobe items, they are incredibly easy to pair with anything and are super comfy. I purchased these from Zara earlier this year, in the sale, so unfortunately you may not be able to get your hands on them. But there are several brands that produce similar items in all kinds of colours. I paired the culottes with my favourite lace top from Miss Selfridges and my must-have white sandals from New Look. They are the perfect shoe for adding that little bit of extra height, still being able to easily walk down the cobbled streets! I went through a phase of buying nothing but white clothing so I always tend to pair these pink bottoms with a white top and white shoes. To add some contrast, I added my lovely Zara clutch bag which is the perfect size for all my bits n bobs!
Outfit Two
Two of my favourite items I bought for this trip are featured in this outfit; my floral culotte jumpsuit from Boohoo and my red kitten heels from ASOS. I am in love with this corset jumpsuit because it is versatile for all different weather conditions. Paired with my amazing red kitten heels to add a pop of colour. I'm a big lover of Boohoo's jumpsuits because they are always true to size however, unfortunately this one was In the sale therefore it is gone for summer! But keep an eye out because they are always coming up with similar items!
Outfit Three
For our trip to Rome, the main aim was to keep cool at all times and these trousers did just the job! I bought these, a very long time ago (sorry!) from Peacocks and I thought they would be perfect to take away with me. Trousers are one of my favourite items to buy because they are suitable for A/W and S/S. These are amongst the several pairs of floral trousers I own but the super flare leg is what draws me to them the most! Paired with a basic bar dot crop top from Boohoo and of course my staple sandals from New Look. It's the perfect garment if you like to still keep your legs covered in the warm weather. I added a small black side bag just to carry my essentials (I wanted to travel light around Rome).
Outfit Four
Again, I purchased this culotte jumpsuit particularly for my trip from Boohoo. With it being so reasonably priced I thought the fabric would be slightly thin and for the silhouette to not be as fitted. However, when I put it on I fell completely in love with it! It has such a flattering, fitted shape, and didn't make me feel too hot and bothered whilst exploring Tuscany. Pairing my red kitten heels with this garment was a complete essential as it made everything pop. Once again, I used my deep plum clutch to create a sense of contrast (you can tell I'm in love with this bag!)
Outfit 5
Assisi was the trip I wanted to be most comfy for because I knew there was going to be an endless amount of walking (majority uphill!). So, I wore my beloved black culottes from New Look, my absolute favourite trousers ever, with a little vest crop top from Boohoo (boohoo is amazing for holiday staples), paired with my most comfy block, open toe boots from New Look. I'm not a huge trainer lover so I find block heeled shoes are the most comfy for me!
I didn't include my outfits that I travelled in and I completely forgot to take photos of my outfit from Florence (we were just so busy!) but, I hope you all enjoyed these outfits as much as I loved wearing them. For an adventurous trip, I definitely wore quite a mixture of fabrics and prints. I think I packed the right garments for the right occasions.
Thank you all for reading!
Love
Ella
