Anyone who knows me understands my love for neutral colours, so typically everything I wore this week incorporates these shades. I always strive to be chic with my style and thus I normally gravitate towards skirts, dresses and wide leg trousers on a day to day basis. I am not normally a huge lover of jeans, but that said I have discovered new ways of making them feminine and soft this winter. So for this post, I thought I'd share my outfits from this week to give you some winter inspiration (minus the bare legs, but you know what I say, fashion is pain!).
For my first outfit, I started out with this gorgeous pink metallic a line skirt which I was fortunate to find in H&M! Unfortunately, it was in the Paris store. I always feel really fancy in this skirt because in my eyes it looks higher end or something you would find in a one off boutique. And what's more, it was an absolute bargain. The original price was €50 but, I must of visited the Paris H&M at the right time because it was on sale for €16!!! This is the perfect skirt to add a feminine, yet glamourous, essence to any day or night outfit. Whenever I combine a black jumper, black tights and black shoes, I always feel like I need a coloured injection, so this skirt adds a little vibrancy. Winter fashion can be such a bore. And whilst I appreciate the wardrobe essential colours, I always love to add ascents of colour. So, this outfit is a easy way to bring pretty pinks into the cold season.
To finish off this outfit I have added my favourite pair of heeled black boots. With a patent finish, these boots are classy, chic and an absolute staple. They transform any outfit and add an extra element of elegance. I always feel ten times more confident in whatever I am wearing when I have these boots on.
The second outfit is definitely one of my go to styles for the winter. A skater skirt, a long sleeve crop top and a pair of knee high boots (and normally a pair of white knee high socks or tights, oh, and a thick fur coat). I have had a total obsession with skater skirts for as long as I can remember. And this basic black H&M one is one of my favourites. It's so easy to wear, and looks so casual yet stylish. Totally easy and effortless looking. A black skater skirt is an absolute staple in my winter wardrobe. As I love combining pastel colours, such as pink or pale blue, with neutral colours such as black, white, nude and grey, I paired this skirt with a dusky pink off the shoulder crop jumper from, once again, H&M. I love an off the shoulder jumper for the winter season, its the perfect way to stay warm yet girly ( a win win!).
I've chosen to finish off this look with these lovely leather knee high boots from Primark. Suede thigh high boots have captured my heart this Winter, but I decided to opt for a clean cut finish. I am obsessed with how knee high and over the knee boots can transform an outfit and instantly make it look so much more current and on trend. These plain black boots have great structure and they are an ultimate key piece to have in your shoe collection - versatile and cute. And finally, I've added my favourite white New Look bucket bag, that is featured in my previous outfit. I love this. It is the perfect addition to any outfit.
To me jeans aren't the most comfiest attire to wear, and personally I feel more comfy and confident in skirts and dresses, but I adore the look of high waisted girlfriend or mom jeans with chunky heeled boots or converse. These ripped pale blue jeans were an absolute treasure find from Primark! And I cannot stress enough how incredibly soft these jeans are for £13! I've added my off the shoulder pale pink jumper and I love the soft blend of colours. It makes me feel a little extra girly.
I finished off the look with my beautiful nude chunky heeled boots from Primark. These type of boots are my ultimate favourite winter shoe. They are completely timeless, and maintain fashion trends, seasonally and annually. The silhouette of the boot is flawlessly elegant. I own many pairs of boots this style, but these have definitely caught my attention more so than others this season. Perfectly stylish and gorgeous, these have become a footwear staple.
I've also added my favourite Pandora pieces to accessorise. My two favourite rings, a dainty heart and a cute flower, to add a delicate flair. And my famous Pandora charm bracelet, with a mixture of different charms, that I wear every day. I've also added my Fiorelli white strap watch and I adore the elegance it adds to any outfit. I love how this watch and my Pandora accessories compliment each other beautifully. And finally, I finished off this outfit with my beloved Aldo bag. This has to be one of my favourite pieces ever and I incorporate it into my outfits as often as I can!

I hope you enjoyed the post- I love putting outfits together to show you and hopefully, minus the bare legs, my outfit choices will give you some style inspiration and ideas on how to wear certain items of clothing.
Love,
Ella
